Allen S. Jankoski

Allen S. Jankoski, 71, of Manchester, passed away Wednesday (May 18, 2016). Born Sept. 2, 1944 in Rockville Centre, LI, NY, he was the son of the late Alexander and Anna (Galasieski) Jankoski.  Allen had served proudly with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.  Mr. Jankoski had worked in sales within the professional services industry for many years before his retirement.  In his spare time, he was an avid cyclist but found his greatest joy in life in his family, to whom he was ever devoted.  He leaves his loving wife of nearly 49 years, Margaret "Peggy" (Jones) Jankoski; three children and their spouses, Kathie and Randy Ely of Hebron, Sharon and Scott Helgerud of Orlando, FL and Tom and Dana Jankoski of Kentfield, CA; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Jack, Kate, Hayden, Taylor and Sheldyn; three siblings, Susi, Peter and Ray; and numerous extended family and friends. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be observed Tuesday (May 24th) at 11 am directly at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 30 Church St. (Rte. 85), Hebron.  Rendering of full military honors will follow the service.  There are no calling hours and burial will be private.
