Charlotte May (Squier) Wright

Charlotte May (Squier) Wright, 80, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at her home.  Born Jan. 28, 1938 in Willimantic, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Laura (Burke) Squier.  Mrs. Wright had worked as a Food Services manager for Arbor Acres for many years before her retirement.  She loved to tend to her garden at home and was an amazing cook, not only for her own family but for many others, as she was known as the “Neighborhood Mom”.  She is survived by her husband, the Reverend Frederick Wright.   She was the loving and devoted mother of Laurie Joslin; doting grandmother to Justin Julian, Jamie Eno and her husband, Brian Eno, Jacob Joslin and Jenna Joslin; proud great grandmother of Jason Ucci, Jr.; and sister of Frank Squier, Kenneth Squier, Sr. and (the late) John Squier.

The family will receive guests 2 - 4 PM Saturday (April 28th) at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Road, Colchester.  A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.  Donations in her memory may be made to Lebanon Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O. Box 51, Lebanon 06249.
