Dear family of Melvin Levine,
please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of Melvin Levine.
During investigations on a B-24 loss at my hometown during World War 2 I've stumbled accross this obituary. I am willing to share my documentation about the loss of B-24J-5-FO S/N 42-50940 that crashed near my hometown in Austria on March 22nd, 1945. Mr. Melvine Levine was the Nose Gunner on board and saved his life by bailing out.

It is sad to learn that you are mourning the loss of Melvin. Please accept my condolences. In the days ahead, you will reflect on seemingly small, yet precious memories. And just as you have memories, God remembers too. Through Jesus, he has demonstrated among many witnesses, that he will indeed restore life on earth to those in his memory.
