Samuel Berkowitz

Samuel “Sam” Berkowitz passed away Thursday (Nov. 16, 2017) at Hartford Hospital.  He leaves two sisters, Estelle Flaum and Anita Stollman and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  He was predeceased by three siblings, Eva Miller, Celia Fruchtman and Myron Berkowitz.  A Remembrance of Sam will be held on Sunday (Nov. 26th) from 12 – 2 PM at the Berkowitz Residence, 303 Route 87, Columbia for all those who would like to attend.  Burial will be private.  Donations in his memory may be made to Congregation Agudas Achim, P.O. Box 367, Columbia 06237.
