Sylvia Louise (Clark) Scopino, 83, of Lebanon, widow of the late William “Skip” Scopino, passed away Thursday (Dec. 8, 2016) at Middlesex Hospital.  Born Nov. 4, 1933 in Lisbon, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Cora (Adams) Clark.  On July 14, 1956, she and Skip were married at the old St. Andrew Church in Colchester.  Together, they shared nearly 49 years of marriage before he predeceased her on June 20, 2005.  Over the years, Mrs. Scopino had worked for the former American Thread Co., Colchester Public Schools as a cafeteria server and lastly at Dunkin Donuts.  Her greatest joy was found in caring for her family of whom she was so very proud.  She especially loved to follow all of her grandchildren’s sporting activities as they grew and to bake for family and friends alike.  She leaves to mourn her passing but cherish her memory three children, Debra Goodwin, Linda Kneeland (and her husband, Ronald) and William J. “Billy” Scopino, all of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Justin Kneeland of Lebanon, Brett Goodwin of East Hampton and Joshua Kneeland and Brooke Goodwin, both of Lebanon; two great grandsons, Jordyn Kneeland and Brayden Goodwin; her brother, Walter Clark of Colchester; and numerous extended family and friends.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Edward Clark and two infant sisters.  Care of private arrangements has been entrusted to the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home of Colchester.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Middlesex Hospital Hospice, 28 Crescent St., Middletown 06457.
