Allan Thomas Perry

Allan Thomas Perry, aged 65, of East Hartford.  Son of the late Ernest V. Perry, Sr. and Josephine Latti Perry was born in Utica, NY born on July 22, 1952. He grew up in Hartford, CT and graduated from Bulkeley High School in 1970.  He attended Central Connecticut State College graduating in 1975 with a BA degree in political science.  He served in the US Army from 1978 to 1982 as a linguist stationed in Germany and fluent in four languages. He worked for the State of Connecticut in the Department of Social Services for 24 years until his retirement in 2016.  He enjoyed travel, ultimately travelling to all six continents, wine with an affinity for German and American Rieslings, and Harry Potter in all its forms. He is survived by his son Thomas Perry and daughter-in-law Mary of Vermont.  Other family members include his brother Ernest V.  Perry, Jr. (wife, Rita and daughter, Eleanor). The family requests privacy during this time.
