Andrew Edward Marzbanian

Andrew Edward Marzbanian, age 58, of East Haddam, passed away December 19, 2019. Born in New Britain, CT on January 5, 1961, he was the son of the late Boris and Loretta Marzbanian.  

Andrew took great pride in serving his country in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA from 1980-1985. After serving his country, Andrew remained in California and married Mary (Webb) Marzbanian. The couple was blessed with two children, Zachary Allan and Stephanie Rae Marzbanian. He loved his children immensely and enjoyed coaching his son in little league baseball.

In 1998, Andrew moved back to Connecticut and worked security at Foxwoods Casino for many years. He enjoyed firearms and even owned his own gun business.

Andrew had a huge heart and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He had that kind of magic that made you feel like you were the most important person in the room when you talked to him. Andrew always lit up the room with his charm and he left an impact on every person he met. He will be loved forever and missed always by his daughter, Stephanie; his nieces, Liza Marzbanian and Angela Jones along with their children, Kayla Marzbanian, Mackenzie Jones, and Brayden Jones.

In addition to his parents, Andrew was predeceased by his son, Zachary: and his sisters, Sandra Chylinski and Susan Kohn.
