Dearest Jackie,
When you called me tonight and left no message I had a bad premonition. I knew something was wrong and surmised it was Charlie. My heart goes out to you, Tammie and Tom. Upon looking at his picture here it brought back so many wonderful memories of the times we all spent together and how you and he became Aunt Jackie and Uncle Charlie to Shawn. We will never forget his (and yours and your mother's) kindness, gentleness and always gracious hospitality. How you would pick up Shawn and keep him over a week end, me knowing how loved he was and how amazing he was treated. We have been friends for a long, long time now and I am sad that I did not get to see him before he passed, but I know that he is with God now and celebrating your upcoming 60th anniversary in heaven, looking down with such love for all of you. God speed Charlie, may you fly on the wings of angels. It was such an honor to have known you and you will never be forgotten.

Dear Jackie & family,
We are so sorry to hear about Charlie. We know this has been a long, long goodbye. He was a wonderful person; so thoughtful and kind. We so enjoyed the time we shared with both of you while you were here in Lakeland. Now you must take the time to take care of yourself and get some much needed rest.

Our deepest sympathy.

Jackie and family, so very sorry to hear about Charlie. We have be neighbors for years, and I know Charlie has been ill for many years. I would visit you and Charlie sitting on your back porch, see him sitting outside near the garage, getting some fresh air. Will miss seeing him. He fought the battle, and now at peace. My deepest sympathy to you, Tammy, Tommy and all your extended family.

Jackie,
Received an e mail regarding your losing Charlie. I am so sorry. We miss the two of you at Heatherwood. I think I am thinking of selling after next winter. It is getting too much to go back and forth. We'll see. God bless you and your family at this difficult time.

Charlie so glad I came for a visit a short time ago. Enjoyed our visit talking about good times as neighbors as well as catching up on kids and grandkids. Time travels by leaps and bounds
My God hold you and your family in His arms.
Terry
