Donald Paulson, 77, of Massachusetts, passed away at the Marlborough Health Care Center on April 12, 2018. Born in Plainfield, NJ on March 24, 1941, he was the son of the late Charles and Martha (More) Paulson. He was a graduate of Millburn High School class of 1960 and went on to attend Paul Smith College where he earned a degree in Hotel Management. He was a proud veteran having served in the U.S. Army. Retiring several years ago, Don worked as a self-employed salesman for most of his career. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting with his brothers and friends. Don was also an enthusiastic fan of the Red Sox and Patriots. Most importantly, he enjoyed the time he spent with his family. He leaves behind his children, Katherine and her husband Brian Mund of Hebron, Betsy and her husband Scott Brass of South Windsor; a brother, Robert Paulson and his wife, Audrey of Princeton, MA; a sister, Nancy and her husband Clint Pazdera of Jupiter, FL; a sister-in-law, Nancy Paulson of Howell, NJ; six grandchildren, Camden, Dayton, Emmalee, Jacob, Kevin, Ryan, and devoted friend, Brenda Galway of Erving, MA. He was also predeceased by his twin brother Dave. In keeping with his wishes, funeral services will be held privately. The Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home of Colchester has been entrusted with services.
