Jeffrey Kenneth Gondek, 29 of Lebanon, passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2019 in Marlborough. Born December 29, 1989, he was a son of Bryon Gondek and Kathy Benjamin. Jeffrey was a kind and gentle soul, who was quick to laugh and almost impossible to upset. His love for the outdoors, his dogs Ava, Bubba, and Bailey, and sports were all outshined by his total devotion and love for his daughter Peyton, whom he adored more than anything else in the world. He is survived by his parents, Bryon Gondek of Lebanon, CT and Kathy Benjamin and step father Ray Benjamin of Marlborough, CT; his fiancé Stefani Skorvanek and daughter Peyton; brother, Joshua Gondek and his fiancé Ashley Varjenski of Colchester, CT; sister, Lisa Gondek and her boyfriend Paul Meikle and nephew Jayden of Marlborough, CT; paternal grandparents, Gloria and Kenneth Maynard of Florida; maternal grandparents, Mildred and Frank Kastner of Windham, CT; uncles, Paul, Michael, Kevin and Kenny, and aunts Sandy, Patty, and Terry and many extended family members and friends. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 6-8 PM at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Rd, Colchester. Graveside burial service will take place Wednesday, Aug. 7th at 10 AM directly at the Hillside Cemetery, 162 Roberts St. East Hartford.
