I am so sorry for your loss. As a graduate of Bacon Academy, I remember him as a very kind math teacher. In fact after explaining a math problem, he would always say "do you think you get this now" as he provided such detail to help us students. Then, he would write math equations on the blackboard and each one of us students would be able to demonstrate our skill to solve the equation by going up to the blackboard. My thoughts are with his family and friends. May he rest in peace...

Joe was a kind soul with a big heart who always had a cheerful word for everyone that he met. His family was his pride and joy and we often shared stories about our children. It was an honor and an enriching experience to have worked with him as a colleague and a friend. We will miss you ,Joe. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My remembrances stretch back to the 70's, when I first had the pleasure of meeting Joe and his family. I was then blessed to meet him again and renew acquaintances when I traveled with the parish choir to Europe. His smile radiated happiness and peace, and his speech re-echoed that theme. Fortunate were the kids who had him as a teacher, and richer are we all for having known him. Colchester has lost a bright light, and the world is the poorer for his loss.

Uncle Joe was s very good and caring man he always put family first. We love and miss you so much but I guess God needed another Angel to keep a eye on us. I will miss his smile and his poems and also being the best God Father I could have.💜💜💜💜💜My prayers are with all of you.
