Lucas Thomas Surprenant

Lucas Thomas Surprenant, age 25, of Quincy, MA, and formerly of Oakdale, CT, passed away suddenly on June 16, 2019.  He was born in New London on January 14,1994, he was a son of Scott and Robin (Stephenson) Surprenant of Oakdale.  Lucas worked as an auto glass installer for J & N Phillips Auto Glass in Quincy, MA. Lucas held a deep appreciation for the outdoors; whenever he could he enjoyed going on camping trips and fishing. He enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees. Lucas will be remembered as a young man of strong will who fought a difficult fight, and loved his family. His laugh, sparkling blue eyes, and great sense of humor will always remain in the hearts of those who knew him well. In addition to his parents, Lucas leaves a brother, Robert Martingano and his longtime girlfriend Katharine Siranko of Norwich; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Carol Surprenant of Oakdale; maternal grandmother, Virginia Stephenson of Salem; Uncles and Aunts Mark and Paula, Bruce and April, Gary and Theresa Surprenant, Richie and Michelle, Michael and Karen, Ray Stephenson, Wendy and George Warner, his girlfriend Stacey Kitt and her daughter Ava, cousins Raechel, Sarah, Silas, Daniel, Brandon, Johnny, Ashley, Matt and Amber, Catt and Nick, Spencer, Rachel, Aaron, Chris, Nate, Micha Ann, and Elizabeth, his extended family in Massachusetts, with whom he resided, and numerous extended family members and friends. Services will be private.
