Peter Charles Doyle

Peter Charles Doyle, 62, of Lake Hayward, beloved husband of Kimberly, passed away Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 23, 2017).  Born Nov. 14, 1955 in New Britain, he was the son of Marian (Giannotta) Crane of Ft. Pierce, FL.  Pete passed on his 38th wedding anniversary when he married the love of his life, Kimberly Ann Belliveau in 1979.  Pete was known as the “Tree Guy” as owner / operator of Pro Property Care.  He was also a printer by trade for many years.  A truly selfless man, he was always willing and able to lend a hand or ear to anyone at a moment’s notice.  Most importantly, he was a devoted family man, who in addition to his mother and wife, he leaves three children Jessica Crocker (Lewis) of Berlin, Sara Charbonnier (David) of Salem and William Doyle of East Haddam; five grandchildren, Layla, Marlee, Ozzy, Samuel and Evan; two sisters, Nancy Cservak (Brad Gaddy) of Vero Beach, FL and Martha Finke (James) of Columbus, IN; his mother-in-law, Arlene Belliveau of Unionville; and numerous extended family and friends.  He was predeceased by his father, Robert Crane as well as his father-in-law, Richard Belliveau.
The family will receive guests from 2 – 5 PM Saturday (Dec. 2nd) at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Road, Colchester.  Services and burial will be private.  The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of both the S4 and Hospice Units at Middlesex Hospital.  In appreciation, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Middlesex Hospital Hospice, Office of Philanthropy, 28 Crescent St., Middletown 06457 (www.middlesexhospital.org).
