Ronald William Quinn, “Pat”, 87, of East Haddam, beloved husband of Mildred (Shuster) Quinn, passed away peacefully Friday (Nov. 17, 2017).

Born June 23, 1930 in West Haven, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Miller) Quinn.

He proudly served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and went on to work as a mason for many years before his retirement.

In addition to his loving wife of 64 years, Millie, he leaves three children, Cynthia Quinn and Russell Perkins, William and wife, Carleen Quinn and Diane Quinn and William J. Perkins, Sr., all of East Haddam; five grandchildren, Sean Scrivens, Amy Pfaffenbach, Anna Duffy, Ellen Rose and Bryan Quinn; six great grandchildren, Damien, Talan, Adalynn, Mason, Clara and Lydia; three siblings, Mildred “Mickey” Acker of West Haven, Leroy “Butch” Quinn and wife, Maureen of East Haven and Warren “Pudge” Quinn of West Haven; and numerous extended family and friends.

The family will receive guests starting at 10 AM Wednesday (Nov. 22nd) at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Road, Colchester before a Chapel Service at 11:30 AM.  Burial with military honors will follow in the Mt. Parnassus Cemetery, Smith Road, East Haddam.
