Terrence Michael Tancredi

Terrence Michael Tancredi, age 80, of Salem, passed from this life into the next on Tuesday, December 17, 2019. Born in Staten Island, NY on November 10, 1939; he was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine Tancredi. Terry was proud to be a New Yorker and would spend hours reminiscing about growing up on Staten Island with his four brothers and his many years working for Con Edison. Terry will always be remembered for his love of the outdoors, history, his Irish heritage, his family, his service in the United States Coast Guard and his ability to tell the longest detail filled stories ever! He was a proud member of the American Legion and was a member of the Fish and Game Club in Colchester. His kind heart, generous spirit and gentle soul will be remembered with smiles and laughter by all of those who knew him. Terry is survived by his wife of 51 years Andrea  “Cookie” Tancredi; his daughter Jennifer Tancredi, and son Joseph Tancredi; his brothers Joseph, Henry, and John Tancredi; his grandchildren Morgan, Jed, Katie, Jessica, Louise, Edward, Isabell, and Gregory – all of whom were the apple of his eye; and many other extended family and friends. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Dennis Tancredi.
