Alan John Plocharczyk 79, of Florida Passed away on Saturday, December 2,2023. Alan was born April 2,1944 in Anaheim, California; He was the son of the late Walter Plocharczyk and Stephanie (Piurek) Plocharczyk. Alan graduated from the university of Connecticut with a master’s degree in chemistry. His education led him to a long career as a chemist specializing in electroplating. In February of 1997 Alan married his wife, Louise (Pasette) Plocharczyk. The couple spent the next 26 years enjoying each other’s company, spending time with their children, family holidays, cruises, or simply sharing good conversation over coffee. After his career as a chemist and before retiring to Florida, He worked at Tracys tunes in Colchester, Connecticut. The music store was a natural choice for Alan who had a lifelong appreciation for music, playing the Trombone as well as the Euphonium. Although he was a Red sox fan at heart, Alan would take the opportunity enjoy any baseball game he could attend with his family. Alan will be profoundly missed by his wife, Louise (Pasette) Plocharzyk; sons Mathew and wife Vivian and their children Sonia and Gregory, Alexei and wife Emily and their children Ray, Daisy, and Henry, Joseph and wife Doe; Stepsons, Robert Crowell jr, Timothy Crowell, John Crowell; Step grandchildren Kirsten, Nicholas, Kaitlyn, Noah, Isabella, Maya, Timothy, Jenna, Kinsley; great grandson, Oliver; along with many extended family members and dear friends. In addition to his parents Alan is predeceased by his son Stephen Plocharczyk and granddaughter Athena Farrell.
