Anne G. Berman, age 89, of Portland, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2020, at the Marlborough Health and Rehab Center where she had been residing. Born in Worcester, MA on December 17, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Murray and Harriet (Bernstein) Nussenbaum. Anne married her husband, Harvey Berman in April of 1951. The couple made their home and raised their family in Cranston, RI. In 1977 they moved to Florida where they enjoyed over 30 years there. Harvey predeceased Anne in June of 2006 after 55 years of marriage. Anne retired many years ago working as a Bank Teller for the Sun Trust Bank. Anne loved to play cards, especially Bridge and Mahjong. She was a talented cook and enjoyed knitting. She will always be remembered with love by her children and their spouses, Susan Devlin (Michael) of Swampscott, MA, Peter Berman of Chicago, IL, Wendy (Stephen) Salisbury of Lebanon; grandchildren, Sarah (Jonathan) Eddy, Matthew Devlin, Tracey Devlin; great grandson Jonathan Eddy; great granddaughter, Emersyn Eddy; and many extended family members and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Corey Devlin. Private graveside funeral service will be held in the New Lebanon Cemetery.
