Anthony R. Montminy, 21, of Lebanon, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 4, 2024.

Born in 2002. Anthony was the son of the late Russell Montminy, Jr. and his mother, Ashley Burke. He was a graduate of Cromwell High School, Class of 2021, and had worked for a time as an installer in the home improvement industry. He was recently pursuing a career in auto repair—a job that fit his passion and interest in working on cars.

Anthony was a vibrant and kindhearted soul who would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. A loyal friend, Anthony cherished the memories he created with the people he loved most in his life. He loved being with his family and friends, especially when making and listening to music or cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers. Those who knew Anthony will always remember his quick wit and great sense of humor; both of which allowed him to make quick friends with anyone who met him.

Anthony will forever be cherished and appreciated, and he will be missed by those who knew and loved him for eternity.

Anthony is survived by his beloved mother, Ashley Burke; his grandfather, Earl Burke and his grandmother, Janice; his grandmother, Janet Montminy-Eligio and her husband, Sal; his uncle; Joshua Burke and his wife, Sylvia; his aunt, Angela “Angie” Montminy; his aunt, Jen Montminy; his uncle, Chris Montminy; dear family friend and extended family, Morgan Nairn and her husband, Keith; his nine cherished cousins; and many other family members and friends. In 2003, Anthony was predeceased by his father, Russell H. Montminy, Jr.

Anthony’s family will receive friends from 4-6:30PM on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Road, Colchester, CT 06415. A short memorial service will be celebrated at 6:30PM—please feel free to bring any memories or stories of Anthony you’d like to share in his memory. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honor may be made directly to Ashley Burke for assistance with funeral expenses.
