Bartholomew T. Morse, Sr.

Bartholomew T. Morse, Sr. “Bart” 75, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT. Born May 20, 1948, in Hartford, CT; he was the son of the late Tom and Antoinette (Tomaro) Morse.  Bart married his wife, Rhona Roux in 1993. Bart worked at Millstone Power Plant in Waterford, where he worked for 18 years until his retirement in 2016.  In his spare time, he loved to unwind watching his favorite sports team the New England Patriots and Boston Red Soxs, or getting lost in a NASCAR race. He held a deep appreciation for nature and being outdoors boating and fishing. Bart was also a gifted guitar player and singer. He would host numerous impromptu concerts at home having his friends and family come over to play their instruments together as they filled the house with music. However, his greatest joy in life came from his family. He loved spending time with them during the holidays and especially on just regular days. He will be forever remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife Rhona Morse; children Bart, Jr., Tom, Shawn and Mark Morse, stepchildren Carol Ann, David, Dan; and daughter in law Linda Roux. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his stepson Donald Roux, Jr.  The burial will be private. A celebration of Bart’s life will be announced at a later date.
