Beverly Ann Lecce, 83, of Norwich, CT passed away peacefully on Friday, November 5, 2021 in Greenwich, Connecticut. Born April 16, 1938, in Norwich, CT; she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Regina (Elia) Lecce. Known affectionately as Bev to many there wasn't a person who met her that didn't love her. She deeply cared about the well being of those close to her never saying no to a friend or family member in need. Beverly spent time in Salem, eventually moving to Norwich with her long time companion William Schmidt. For years she worked for the state of Connecticut in the Department of Collections in Newington. A graduate of NFA, she was an avid Red Sox fan and held a deep passion for animals, owning many dogs and cats throughout her life. She enjoyed weekly trips to the hairdresser and lunches at the Norwich golf course as well as family gatherings and music concerts. She is survived by her loving daughter Melissa (Cesar Terrero) Trigenis and grandchildren Gia and Luciano Terrero of Darien, CT whom she lived with later in life, as well as her brother Robert Lecce (Carol Lecce) of Salem, their son Robert Lecce, cousin Marian Orlinski of Colchester, long time friend and caretaker Angie Smith Winfield of Norwich, friend Stephanie Hall of Nantucket, MA and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her sisters Mary ( Lecce) Altieri , Helen Lecce and Carmella Tarrant and her brother John Lecce.
