Blanche (Turpin) Manjuck

Blanche Manjuck (Turpin), 100, of Salem, CT, and formerly of Stamford, CT, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 17th. Blanche was born March 10, 1919, to parents Roman and Mary (Piorek) Turpin. She married her beloved husband, William Manjuck on March 30, 1940 and the couple raised their family in Stamford.  Blanche was an avid Yankees fan, she loved going to bingo and enjoyed traveling with her seniors. She loved her family tremendously and will be remembered for her beautiful smile and kind heart. Blanche will be forever loved and missed by her daughters, Mary-Ann Jaworoski and Margaret (Harry) Bode; her sister, Anna LaBella; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by both of her parents; her husband; her son, William Manjuck; and her brother, Henry Turpin. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 27, from 3-5pm at the Aurora McCarthy Funeral Home 167 Old Hartford Rd. Colchester, CT. Burial will be private.
