Bonnie Claire Rebillard

Bonnie Claire Rebillard, 71, of Colchester, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Apple Rehab in Colchester. Born November 27, 1949; she was a daughter of the late Edward V. and Helen (Holaj) Hayden and sibling of her late brother Sterling Hayden.  Bonnie was a graduate of Bacon Academy high school in Colchester. In 1988 she graduated from UConn with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. After graduating she went to work for the state of Connecticut as a social worker, until a car accident in 1993 forced her into early retirement. Bonnie was a woman of faith and was a member of the Colchester Federated Church. In her spare time she enjoyed curling up with a good book or working on her newest crochet project. She is survived by her son Eric Rebillard, and fiancé Jane Garner, of  Moosic, Pennsylvania, daughter Stacy Peake and son-in-law Neil Peake of Houston, Texas; sister Joyce Hayden of New Hampshire; grandchildren Dorseylane Rebillard, Eric Rebillard Jr., Connor Brown, Baylor Brown and McKenna Peake and great-grandson Jaxson Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.
