Brian Joseph Cinea, 61, of Salem, passed away suddenly on the morning of Friday, March 22, 2024. Born June 6, 1962, in Hartford, CT; he was a son of Arthur Cinea and the late Elizabeth (Vaudreuil) Thompson. In 1984, Brian married his wife and soul mate, Teresa (Blevins) Cinea, they lived in East Glastonbury for 19 years before moving to Salem. In 2003, Brian and Teresa became the proud owners of Salem Farms Campground after camping there seasonally for 9 years. Brian is also the former Fire Police Captain for the Salem Volunteer Fire Department. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on and riding his motorcycle, vacationing with Teresa at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and spending time with his family that meant so much to him. He will be forever remembered as a hard-working and loving husband, father and grandfather. Brian is survived by his wife, Teresa Cinea of Salem; daughter Melissa and husband Tim Keefe of Salem, daughter Amy Cinea her children Aubree and Caiden Litwin of Salem, son Chris Cinea, fiancé Chelsea Fox and their children Cylee, Cooper and Colton Cinea of Salem, son Corey, wife Amanda and their daughter Adalyn Cinea of Lebanon, Father Arthur and stepmother Gail Cinea of Florida; brother Gary and wife Patti Cinea of Bolton, sisters Cathy Cinea-Montgomery of Florida and Marlene Cinea of New Hampshire; along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends that were like family that he met over the years at the campground. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024, from 5 to 8 PM at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home 167 Old Hartford Rd, Colchester, CT 06415. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association or CT Humane Society in Brian’s name.
Brian was always a jeans and T-shirt kind of guy, it was his wish, and the request of the family, that those who wish to attend the calling hours please dress casual in honor of Brian's memory.
