Charles "Chuck" Haralson Obituary

Charles Chuck Haralson, of Lebanon, peacefully passed away on January 7, 2026, after a year-long battle with cancer, with his wife of 47 years, Diane, by his side. Born on February 28, 1947, in West Point, Georgia, he was the son of the late Arthur Harry and Polly Haralson.

Throughout his life, Chuck being part of a Navy family, lived in many placesincluding California, Maryland, New Jersey, and Connecticutwhere he built lasting friendships and raised his family. He enjoyed a long career in collections and banking and, even in retirement, remained actively involved in various small businesses. Chuck never stopped working, and he never stopped giving. He believed in supporting his community and was involved in several local organizations, including the Lebanon Lions Club and area farmers markets. Always willing to lend a hand, he was known for speaking his mindalways with the intent to help.

Chuck lived a truly remarkable life and embraced it to the fullest. He loved classic cars and fine cigars, travel and good company, a Meyers on the rocks with a twist of lime paired with a perfectly made crab cake, and sharing stories from his youthalways delivered with the humor and wit that made him unforgettable. He was admired for his tireless work ethic, generosity, and genuine care for others, but above all for his deep love of family. More than anything, Chuck will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, cherished uncle, and loyal friend.

His legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched over the years. He wore many hatsboth literally and figurativelyand his impact reaches far and wide.

Chuck will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Diane, of Lebanon; his daughters and their families, Marisa and David Seng of Lebanon, Emily Haralson of Lebanon, and Jessica and Andrew Poluszejko of Pittsburgh; his grandchildren, Vincent, Oliver, Amelia, Kash, and Kodi; as well as many extended family members and friends.

While our hearts are broken by this loss, we are immensely proud of the man Chuck was and all that he accomplished in his 78 years.
