Cindy Marie Sypher

Cindy Marie Sypher, age 50, of Norwich and formerly of Colchester, passed away on October 19, 2020, at Hartford Hospital after many years, courageously battling with heart disease. Born in Middletown on May 8, 1970, she was a daughter of the late Ronald and Patricia (Gallagher) Fowler.  She married her beloved husband David Sypher on June 29, 2013.   The couple lived in Colchester for several years and later moved to Norwich.  They enjoyed Harley traveling, motorcycle riding together, especially in their favorite vacation State of Arizona.  Cindy will be remembered most fondly as a wonderful person with a great heart.  She was caring, kind, and generous.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.  Cindy will be remembered with love by her husband, David; her daughter, Amanda Gionfriddo of North Stonington; her son, Jesse Gionfriddo of East Haddam; two grandchildren, Athena and Dean; a brother, Brian Fowler of Wethersfield; and many extended family members and friends.  Funeral services will be held at a later date to be announces.  Donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org The Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home of Colchester has been entrusted with care of arrangements.  For online condolences, please visit www.auroramccarthyfuneralhome.com
