Diane Ivey, of East Hampton, passed away on October 6, 2025, with her family by her side.  She was born on October 24, 1943, to Preston and Marcia Wright, in Philadelphia, PA. 

She worked as an administrative secretary in the insurance industry. In 1964, she married the love of her life, Richard, who sadly predeceased her in 2005. They had 3 children together and built their life in East Hampton. 

In her spare time, Diane enjoyed sewing, crafting, and was a member of DAR. One of her favorite things to do was to vacation in Aruba with her husband and family, which she did every year. She also loved spending time with her beloved cat, Buddy.

Diane will be sadly missed but always remembered with love by her children, Diane leaves daughters, Denise of Northfield, VT, and Debra of East Hampton, and her son Richard of TN. Diane also leaves her grandchildren, William Clarke of East Hampton, Justin (and Jessica) of CT, Lola Ivey of Marlborough, CT, Melissa Snow of East Hampton, Alan (and Courtney) of Manchester, NH, Alex and Ren Ivey of Vermont; her great-grandchildren, Kaelah, William, and Korra Clark of CT, and Bailey and Richard Derosier of NH; her brother in law, Jeff Ivey of East Hartford, CT; sisters Barbara, Kathy, and Carole; and a brother, Kenneth (and Lisa); many nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Richard; her mother, Marcia Enochs; her father, Preston Wright; brother, Gary Wright; stepmother, Elenor Wright; Aunt Florence; and many other family and friends.
