Dominick P. Genna

Dominick P. Genna, 69, of Colchester, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Born January 3, 1952 in Queens, NY; he was a son of the late Salvatore and Cecilia (Carlucci) Genna. In 1978 he married his wife, Elizabeth Foster, the couple settled in Queens, New York, where they raised their two sons. For over 30 years, Dominick worked as a plumber at the Metropolitan Hospital in New York, until his retirement in 2006.  In his spare time he enjoyed tending to his garden, and spending time with his family. He will be forever loved and remembered by his wife Elizabeth Genna; sons Dominick S. Genna and wife Missy Genna, and Michael Genna; brother Carl Genna and wife Mary Genna; grandchildren Maddie, Avery Rose and Layla Genna; and numerous other extended family and friends. Callings ours will be held on Monday, October 18, from 10:00AM to 12:00 PM at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Rd, Colchester, CT. Followed by a chapel service in the funeral home. Burial will take place in the St. Joseph Cemetery, 815 Boswell Ave, in Norwich.
