It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Donald E. Collard Sr, of Hebron. He passed away at his residence peacefully on Tuesday January 21, 2025 surrounded by his family. Donald was 79 at the time of his passing. Born February 24, 1945, in Minerva, NY; he was the son of the late Lawrence W. Collard and Edna E. (James) Collard. Donald worked for 58 years as a truck driver for the Red Star Trucking company and was a member of the Local #671 Union. On July 18th,1966 he married the love of his life Patricia Quagliaroli, they settled in Hebron, where they raised their family and spent 58 wonderful years together. Donald was an avid outdoors man; he loved fishing and hunting and was a member of the Hebron Sportsman Club.  He will be forever loved and remembered as a devoted husband, a caring father, a loyal brother, and a wonderful grandfather. He is survived by his wife Patricia Collard; his son Donald Collard Jr. and his wife Alice Collard, Daughter Sherry Collard; grandchildren Tyler Collard and Zachery Verona; and numerous other extended friends. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his son, John Collard.
