Dorothy Arlene Hayman 85, of Gilman, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023. Born August 11, 1937 in Willimantic, CT; she was the daughter of the late Isadore and Sophie (Brigadier) Lesniak. Dorothy was married to Julian Josypenko and later remarried the late Ralph Hayman. She worked for several years at Marty Gilman's and then on to AEG and UNC from where she retired. In her spare time, she loved working in her garden, tending to her flowers and caring for her cats. She is survived by her daughter Helen Josypenko of Kaneohe, HI and stepson John Hayman of Lebanon. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her son Michael Josypenko. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Kitty Harbor, 2263 Glasgo Rd.
