Elizabeth Corey Obituary

Elizabeth Corey, age 85, of Colchester and formerly of Coventry, passed away at Marlborough Health and Rehab Center where she had been residing most recently. Born on June 26, 1936 in New Haven, CT. she was a daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Murray) Silk. She married her beloved husband Reginald Corey on December 7, 1985 in New Haven. Elizabeth retired several years ago after a long and successful career as a technical assistant for the former SNET. In addition to her beloved husband of 36 years, Reginald, she leaves her children, David Bystrack and his wife Cindy, Patricia Corey-Lisle of Coventry; siblings, George Silk, Jr. and Joan Peteraccione; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in death by a son, Robert Bystrack and a granddaughter. The Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home of Colchester has been entrusted with care of arrangements.
