Elizabeth T. (Turner) Koes

Elizabeth “Betty” T. Koes, 97, of Hebron, and formerly of Colchester, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2020 at Windham Hospital. Born July 8, 1923 in Avoca Pennsylvania; she was the daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Wilson) Turner. In 1945 Betty married her husband, the late John Koes, they shared over 68 years of Marriage together until he predeceased her in 2014. For years she worked as a tool crib attendant at Pratt & Whitney in Hartford until her retirement in the early 80’s. In her retirement Betty gave back to her community by volunteering at the Colchester elementary school; and was an active member of the Colchester senior center and Colchester Federated Church. She will be forever loved and remembered by her three sons, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends.
