Elizabeth Marie Patton

Elizabeth “Liz” Marie Patton, 71, of Lebanon, passed away at home, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Born January 4, 1951 in Bridgeport, CT; she was a daughter of the late Amil and Helen (Kreinus) Toth. Liz grew up in Bridgeport, and was a graduate of the Norwalk Hospital School of Nursing. On July 29, 1972, she married her husband, the late Richard Patton; they shared 34 years of marriage together until he predeceased her in 2007. After their marriage, Elizabeth and Richard moved out to Sacramento, CA where they lived for several years until they ultimately settled down in Lebanon to raise their family. For 36 years Elizabeth worked as a registered nurse at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London. She was a former member of the Red Hats Society, and in her spare time enjoyed being around the horses at Mitchel Farm in Salem. She was well known for her green thumb, and would cultivate a jungle of plants in her sunroom. She loved to travel, particularly to Ireland, and spending quiet evenings with her family and friends. She is survived by her children Jaime Dalmage and Jim Patton; brother George and wife Patty Toth; grandchildren Brittany and Dominique Ruley, Gavin and Kelsey Dalmage, and Morgan Patton; and numerous other extended family and friends. In addition to her parents and husband she is predeceased by her sister Madeline Adzima. A celebration of Liz’s life will be held on April 23rd at 4PM at Langleys, located at Great Neck Country Club in Waterford, CT.
