Eric A. Swanson

Eric A. Swanson (Papa), age 68, of Lebanon, passed away on December 30, 2021.  Born on July 19, 1953 in Tulsa, OK, he was the son of Paul and Kathryn (Pool) Swanson.  Eric was a self-made man, working as the owner and operator of Swanson Home Service, providing carpentry and other handy man work.  Eric was also proficient as an auto mechanic.  He was extremely knowledgeable and he loved to teach and help others whenever and wherever he could.  Eric was a member of the Christian Life Chapel in Colchester.  He led a life of service and was devoted as a Christian and as a father.  Eric will be sadly missed but always remembered with love by his family, Erica Swanson, Adreanne Swanson, Jason and his wife Michele Swanson and their children, Jedidiah and Malachi, Grantham and his wife Nicole Swanson and their children, Gavin, Hailey, and Lucas; a sister Laurel and her husband, Bill Koncki; step-father, Chet Swierczynski; and numerous extended family members and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Rd., Colchester, beginning at 10 am with calling hours, followed by a chapel service at the funeral home at 12 noon.  Burial will follow in the Linwood Cemetery in Colchester.  For online condolences, please visit www.auroramccarthyfuneralhome.com
