Erin Marie Pelletier, 40, of Norwich and formerly of Colchester, passed away suddenly on Saturday June 17, 2023 while camping at Hopewell Pond State Park. Born January 8, 1983, in Manchester, CT, she was the daughter of Michael and the late Kimberly Pelletier of Colchester. Erin was a 2001 graduate of Bacon Academy in Colchester. In recent years she worked for Bob’s Discount Furniture in Taftville and worked for a time as a visiting CNA for private residences in the Colchester area. She was an avid fan of music and enjoyed music festivals. Her family often joked that you would hear Erin coming before you saw her because of how loud she was playing her music as she pulled up in her car. She had a contagious smile, held a deep appreciation for nature, and loved to go camping. However her greatest joy in life came from being a devoted mother to her two daughters Kaelyn and Alenah whom she loved and treasured. She is survived by her partner Anthony Cohn, her children Kaelyn and Alenah, father Michael Pelletier, sister Heather and her husband Michael Festa, nephews Michael and Anthony Festa, and numerous extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her mother, Kimberly Pelletier. Erin was a loving and selfless woman who was always willing to help others in need. Her last act of kindness on earth was giving the gift of life to others through organ donation, because of her donation several people will be able to live.   Calling hours will be held at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Rd., Colchester on Monday, June 26, 2023, from 10 AM to 12 PM, followed by a 12 PM chapel service.  Donations in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association at www.lung.org for online condolences please visit www.auroramccarthyfuneralhome.com
