Garret Carlson Reynolds, 29, of Manchester, and formerly of Amston, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 25, 2020. Born March 28,1991, Garret was the beloved son of Gail (Carlson) Gondyke, of Amston, and the late Frederick Reynolds Jr. Garret attended RHAM Highschool and graduated in 2009. He then attended the Professional Golfers Career College in Orlando, FL earning his Associates degree in 2011. From a young age, Garret was an avid sports enthusiast and a die-hard Yankees fan; he enjoyed all sports and loved golfing. He spent most of his life around Amston Lake and enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, comedy and poker. His genuine compassion for people insured his success in the service industry as a server and bartender. He loved dogs, especially his Pit Bull Bruce. Garret was a kind, generous, fun loving free spirit with a beautiful soul whose presence could light up a room just by walking into it. Garret will be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him. In addition to his loving mom Gail, Garret leaves behind his maternal grandmother, Jan Carlson of Norwich, his paternal grandparents, Fred and Karen Reynolds of Bozrah, his sister Nicole Reynolds and brother-in-law Rob Welch, his nephew who is due to arrive in February 2021; his companion Kristen Paesani, his good friends Travis Maneeley, Tommy Lynes and Mike Pohl; his many aunts, uncles and cousins, and his countless friends. He now joins his father Fred, maternal grandfather Jerry Carlson, his maternal aunt Tracy Julian, and his beloved companion Bruce, who predeceased him. Walkthrough calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 29 from 4-7 PM at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Road, Colchester, CT. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 10 AM directly at the New Lebanon Cemetery, Waterman Rd, in Lebanon.
