Helen Viklinetz

Helen Viklinetz, of Lebanon, passed away at her home on August 16, 2023. She was 83 years old. Helen was born in Deep River, Connecticut on September 14, 1940. She was a daughter of the late Harry and Ida Joy. On Thanksgiving Day 1972, Helen married the love of her life John Viklinetz.  The couple would spend the next 51 years building a life together while cherishing each other’s companionship. She was a dedicated employee at the Highland Market in Manchester for 30 years, where she worked in the deli, bakery, and seafood departments. Helen will be dearly missed but always remembered with love by her husband John; Sons, Terrance and wife Kimberly Lucas, Phillip and wife Michelle Lucas, Jonathon Viklinetz; Daughter, Jessica and husband Tom Guerard, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous other extended family members and friends. According to her wishes, funeral services will be private.  The Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home of Colchester has been entrusted with care of arrangements.
