Jacob Joseph Evans, 28 of Salem; passed away on Tuesday October 1, 2024, at Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by his family. Born July 20, 1996, in New London; he is the son of Christopher Evans and Donna Dunphy. Jacob’s untimely passing has been difficult on all of us, as we come to terms with a life having come to end so soon. As we mourn his passing we also choose to remember and celebrate his life and who he was deep down. Jacob was a hardworking and compassionate young man who endured and overcame various struggles throughout his life. Jacob’s sense of humor helped to both navigate through life’s ups and downs and brightened the days of those around him as he found a way to make anyone laugh. Jacob’s kindness and gentle nature will be felt on this earth for years to come. We ask that those who knew him best continue to keep his memory alive by sharing memories of him and treating others the way he would have treated them.
