James Henry Donnelly

James Henry Donnelly, Jr. of Lebanon, passed away on December 30, 2022, at Hartford Hospital.  He was 90 years old.  Born on May 6, 1932, in Spencer, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late James and Edna (Dwelly) Donnelly.  In 1956 he married his wife, the late Priscilla (Jewett) Donnelly. In 1966 the couple settled in Lebanon, where they raised their family. They shared 62 years of marriage and traveled the world together, until she predeceased him on October 7 of 2019. James worked for about 30 years at Pratt & Whitney where he rose through the ranks, ultimately retiring as a General Foreman. He was an avid local sports supporter, whether it was the UConn women’s basketball, or the local high school teams. He is predeceased by his siblings Lloyd Donnelly, Jane Saucier and Claire Berry. He is survived by his children James Donnelly, III and Colleen Donnelly; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. A small graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 11 AM at the Liberty Hill Cemetery on Trumbull Hwy in Lebanon.
