James Allen Renfro

James Allen Renfro, age 64, of Colchester, passed away on April 29, 2021.  His family was by his side through it all.  Born in Kansas City, MO on April 24, 1957, he was the son of Robert and Nancy (Jones) Renfro.  James was the HR Manager for Bob’s Discount Furniture for many years, where he cared very much about and worked diligently for the employees.  James enjoyed running, cooking for family and friends, and was a lover of music.  He will be remembered as a spiritual man with a strong faith, devoted to family and friends alike.  He will be greatly missed but always remembered with love by his parents, Bob and Nancy of VA; his fiancé, Pam Brown and her daughters Sydney and Amber; his three children, Haley Renfro, Shane Renfro and his girlfriend Jane Williams, and Chase Renfro, all of CT; his three brothers, Brian Renfro of VA, Chris Renfro of VT, Kevin Renfro of NM; his two sisters, Kathy Emerson of SC, Roxanne Daigle of VA; and numerous extended family members and friends.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 12:30 – 3:30 pm at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Rd., Colchester.
