James Joseph Travers

James Joseph Travers, 91, of Long Meadow MA, and formerly of Colchester CT, passed away in April, 2020. Born in 1928, in Kearny New Jersey; he was the son of the late John and Katherine Travers. James was a proud veteran, and served our nation by enlisting in the United States Air Force in 1946. He later worked 30 years as an Airline Pilot for TWA. He will be forever loved and remembered by his Son John and wife JoAnn Travers of Somers, CT, daughter Roseann Travers Smith of North Carolina, Son Christopher of Georgia; his grandchildren, Kelly, James and Jennifer; great-grandchildren , Ethan and Gavin and and numerous extended family and friends. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife Eileen Travers in 2018.
