Jan Louise (Lovett) Sciremammano, age 51, passed away unexpectedly on September 8, 2023. She was born on April 3, 1972 in Rockville, CT, the daughter of Joseph Lovett Jr. and Jacqueline (Hoar) Lovett of Marlborough. Jan loved being with her children, grandchildren, and family more than anything. She loved attending Syris’s baseball games, going hiking, cooking, golfing, decorating for the holidays, and anything family oriented. Jan was an animal lover who enjoyed spending time at the horse farms and horse shows, where she watched her children and grandchildren ride. Jan grew up in Marlborough CT, and graduated from RHAM High School in 1992. She then went on to Briarwood College receiving her degree in business management and hospitality. Jan spent much of her career in restaurant management and enjoyed working with people daily. She was an extremely hard worker who excelled in anything she put her mind to. Her hard work and dedication never went unnoticed. Jan will be sadly missed by many, but always remembered with love. She leaves behind her two children, Savanna and Syris Sciremammano, both of Colchester; her parents, Joseph and Jackie; step-children, Kara Cicchiello of Lebanon, John Sciremammano, of Windham, Sierra Sciremammano of Gallatin, TN; grandchildren, Isabella and Penelope Smith, Sofia and Lilliana Irizarry, Layne, John, and Margaret Sciremammano, Charleigh and Blakely Martin; and numerous extended family members and friends. She was predeceased in death by a son, Tanner Sciremammano and a brother, Jon Lovett. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 14th from 4 – 7 PM at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Rd., Colchester. The funeral will gather at the funeral home on Friday, September 15th beginning at 10:30 with a service at 11:00 am. Burial will be held privately in the New Lebanon Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her infant son, Tanner.
