Janice Edna Horton, of Willimantic and formerly of Branford and East Haddam, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, at her home in Vanderman Place.  She was 88 years old.  Janice was born on June 12, 1937, in New Haven, CT. She was the daughter of the late Norman and Dorothy (Barnett) Horton. Janice raised her children in Branford and East Haddam, CT. She was a devoted homemaker for her family, as well as an avid animal lover who fostered and took in countless rescue dogs, and supported multiple different wildlife and dog organizations. She loved spending time in nature, creating beautiful gardens and spending time playing board games and crossword puzzles with her children and grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed but always remembered with love by her family.
