Jessica Sawchyn, of Jewett City, passed away on June 04, 2024.  She was 33 years old.

Jessica was born in Norwich, on August 1, 1990, The daughter of Alex and Dayna (Latham) Sawchyn. She graduated with high honors from Norwich Technical High School, Class of 2007, studying in the automotive department. Following school, Jessica worked at the Apple Store in the Foxwoods Casino and Engine 6 Pizza in Norwich where she enjoyed working with others in her role as Manager. She also went on to earn her real estate license.

No matter where she was employed, Jessica always maintained her passion for motorsports and the automotive field. Jessica’s greatest joy in life came from spending every moment possible with her two daughters who she adored more than anything. Jessica will be profoundly missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her parents, Alex and Dayna Sawchyn; beloved daughters, Skyylar, and Ariyah; and her cousin Debbie, who was like the sister she never had. A Celebration of Jessica's Life will be held on Monday, June 17th at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Road, Colchester, CT 06415. There will be a visitation period from 10AM-12PM followed by a memorial service at 12PM.
