Joan Beverly (Tillson) Lynn

Joan Beverly Lynn, age 89, of Colchester, passed away at Middlesex Hospital Hospice on April 27, 2021.  She was born in Bridgeport, CT on May 5, 1931, a daughter of the late Wilbur and Agnes (Kalalian) Tillson.  She married her beloved husband, Alexander Lynn, Jr. in 1948.  The couple shared 35 years of marriage before he predeceased her on June 19, 1983.  Joan was a woman of strong faith, attending the Colchester Bible Baptist Church.  She loved flowers and beautiful gardens.  Joan enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and word searches, watching TV, playing cards, and shopping.  Most importantly, she will be remembered as a devoted family woman who was peaceful, independent, and kind.  She will be sadly missed but always remembered with love by her children and their spouses, Craig Lynn of New Hampshire, Randy and Cindy Lynn of Lebanon, David Lynn and Shawn Brimmer of Salem; a sister, Kathleen Tripp of Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Hilda Haney of FL; 17 grandchildren, Lisa, Kevin, Michael, Jacki, Derek, Staci, Bill, Megan, Emily, Scott, Matthew, Michael, Chris, Josh, Adam, Mason, Cameron; many great grandchildren, a great, great grandchild, numerous extended family members and friends.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey; a brother, Bill Tillson; and a sister, Pat Leone. 

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 8th beginning at 10 am with a calling hour at the Colchester Bible Baptist Church, Chestnut Hill Rd, Colchester 06415.  The funeral service will follow at Church at 11am.
