Joseph Weber Obituary

Joseph Manuel Weber, 78, of Marlborough, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Born March 25, 1943 in Washington, DC; he was the son of the late Barnett and Elizabeth (Epstein) Weber. He was a 1968 graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. In 1975 he married the love of his life Paula Honeyman. The couple lived in Newington for five years and eventually settled in Marlborough where they raised their family for the past 42 years. For years Joseph worked as a Field Service Manager for Equipment Service Inc. In Hartford; he later went on to work as a bus driver for the town of Marlborough, Hebron, and East Hampton during his retirement. He contributed to his community by being a member of the Marlborough Republican Town Committee, and currently was serving on the Marlborough Zoning Board of Appeals. In addition to his Marlborough involvement, he was also part of the Wethersfield class of 61’ reunion committee, and the New England Electric Auto Association. In his spare time he was a well-known audio and video recording hobbyist, a passion that went back to his youth. He is survived by his wife, Paula Weber; children Harry Weber, Jeffrey (Krista) Weber, and Jennifer Weber; sister Francine Shaw, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Leonard and Susan Honeyman; grandchild Ryan Weber; and numerous other extended family, friends, and nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 1 PM directly at the Congregation B’nai Sholom Cemetery on Jordan Lane in Wethersfield, CT.
