Joyce Ann (Bates) Dixon

Joyce Ann Dixon, of Norwich, passed away on September 14, 2022.  She was 88 years old.  Born in Cincinnati OH, on July 4, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Gaither and Ruth (Story) Bates.  Joyce married Earl Dixon on September 30, 1954.  The couple shared a wonderful life filled with loving family members, ever growing to become a legacy of grand proportions.  Joyce was a doting grandmother and great grandmother who loved cooking for her family and who knew just what special dish to make for each one of them on their birthday. Joyce will be sadly missed but always remembered with love by Earl, her husband of nearly 68 years; her children and their spouses, Ruth Dixon, Jane and Savas Aydemir,  Earl and Jodi Dixon, Joyce and Todd Rozek, Robert and Lynn Dixon, Helen and Eugene Fulvi; eighteen grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends.  Funeral services will be held in New Jersey on October 22, 2022 at the First Presbyterian Church, 457 Division Ave., Carlstadt, NJ 07072 at 11 AM.
