Keith A. Wilkes, of Plainfield, passed away on January 15, 2026. He was born on April 2, 1983, in Fort Knox, KY to Melvin Wilkes and Renee Harris-Heap. After high school, Keith began working as a chef in the food service industry. He also was a farrier part time and also worked as maintenance coordinator at Nature's campground in Voluntown.

In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hiking and rock climbing. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and his beloved husky, Jet. Keith will be sadly missed but always remembered with love by his mother, Renee Harris-Heap and stepfather Cory. His father Melvin Wilkes of Missouri, his brother Andrew Harris of Colorado, his sister Ashley Wilkes of St Louis along with his nephew Xzavier; and numerous extended family members and friends.
