Leo John Parciak, Jr. passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Bride Brook Nursing Home in Niantic, CT. Born December 17, 1941, in Norwich, CT; he was the son of the late Leo Parciak, Sr. and Rita (Germaine) Parciak. In 1960 Leo enlisted in the Unites States Air Force, shortly after enlisting he married his wife, Laura Smith. After being honorably discharged, he went to work at Electric Boat in Groton where he worked as a draftsman until his retirement. During his retirement he loved to spend time watching his New York Yankees, fishing and cruising all over the Caribbean. He is survived by his children Leo Parciak III and wife Rita Parciak, Susan Sutter and husband Patrick Sutter, Kevin Parciak and wife Tabitha Parciak; grandchildren Melanie (Dennis) Goggin, Desiree Parciak, Skylar Parciak, Michael Sutter, Carly (James) McKinney, Justine Sutter, Brooke (Crysta) Parciak, and Amber (Eric) Frye; great grandchildren Nolan, Greyson, RoseMary, James, Penelope, Miles and Asher. Care of private arrangements has been entrusted to the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home of Colchester.
