Linda Lee (Marvin) Glenn

Linda Lee (Marvin) Glenn, 74, of Shelbyville, TN and formerly of Colchester, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 20, 2022.

Born February 25,1948 in Norwich, she was the eldest daughter of the late Dwight R. "Bumble" and Wildred I. (Rogers) Marvin.

Linda grew up on the family farm on Route 85 in Colchester and was a graduate of Bacon Academy, Class of 1966.  On July 31st of that same year, she would marry her beloved husband of 55 years, Roy J. Glenn married July 31, 1966.

Together, Linda and Roy settled on a secluded tract of land which fell on the meeting point of the towns of Colchester, Lebanon, Salem and Bozrah, where they would raise their two children, Robin and Dana.

With a hard work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, Linda and Roy owned and operated Glenn Drilling and later, her father's business, Marvin's Used Auto Parts before retiring to Tennessee in 2011.

In her spare time, Linda was a talented knitter, crocheter and quilter; but perhaps her favorite pastime of all was "4 o'clock coffee" at the farm with family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Roy, and her two children, Robin Byrd Cox and Dana Glenn, she leaves two grandchildren, Nicole Byrd and Walter Glenn; three sisters, Deborah Howard and husband, Terry, Alyce Donahue and husband, James and Priscilla Marvin; her "adopted" sister, Gladys Bryant; and numerous extended family and friends.

Per her wishes, there will be no services and burial will be private.
