Nicholas Anthony Paranzino, 68, of Hebron, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Born October 30, 1952 in Middletown; he was a son of the late Natale and Lucille Paranzino. For years he worked as a health provider at CRI group homes in Connecticut; he was a compassionate loving man who always prioritized the wellbeing of his residents in the group home. In his spare time he would delve into studying various cultures and languages, from his studies he was able to speak several different languages, the most impressive to his friends and family was his fluency with Mandarin. He held a deep appreciation and fascination with Chinese culture, so much so that he was currently looking to relocate to China to teach English. Nick’s passion for studying other cultures and languages was matched by his love of art and music. He was a self-taught musician and enjoyed expressing his creativity through a variety of mediums. He will be forever loved and remembered by his sister Tricia (Steve) Schiavi of Hebron, brothers Peter (Mary) Paranzino of Portland, Stephen (Bernie) Paranzino of Middlefield, and Andrew (Deb) Paranzino of Colchester; several nieces and nephews; and numerous other extended family and friends.
